About Us
- We work with leaders, teams and organizations to identify and understand the Influence Matrix – the specific mix of factors which impacts their attempts to affect the behavior of others.
- This matrix is a complex rather than a simple system, with components operating on different levels.
- It contains influences that are difficult to recognize and identify, as they can be
- Internal or external to the sender and to the receiver
- Implicit or explicit
- It is
- Bi-directional, reflecting the mutual influence that exists between the sender and the receiver
- Dynamic rather than static – it is in a constant state of flux as its components interact with one another
- We work with leaders, teams and organizations to develop and implement an Influence Process tailored to their organizational context, audience and situation. This involves reshaping their current Influence Matrix to be more effective in working with and through people.
- We work with leaders to help them develop a personal Influence Model which authentically expresses the leader’s own style, needs and dynamics. This Model takes into account the bi-directional nature of the influence matrix, and the internal, external, implicit and explicit factors.
- In developing a personal Influence Model, leaders learn to communicate in a manner that
- Allows them to clearly express their needs, make requests, and give instructions in a way that minimizes resistance and creates an openness in others.
- Gives others the opportunity to express their concerns in matters that affect them, in such a way that they feel listened to and heard, accepted and valued.
- Is effective, even in the face of differences and disagreements.
